Abstract
In the 2016 award, the NOAA Education Partnership Program instructed all the Cooperative Science Centers it supports, including NOAA-CESSRST, to prioritize social science integration into their activities. The talk will discuss how the Center is implementing that requirement.
Specifically, the talk will discuss what the requirement means for students’ education and training as well as what it means for the Center’s research across the NOAA-CESSRST Consortium. Ultimately, the goal is to ensure that the Center’s activities strengthen and support social decision making.
About the Presenter:

Her primary responsibility is to ensure that the Center meets the Special Award Condition related to social science in the Center’s award from the NOAA Education Partnership Program.
