The 2017 NOAA Satellite Conference (NSC) will take place July 17-20, 2017. This year’s theme will focus on “A New Era for NOAA Environmental Satellites.”

The 2017 NOAA Satellite Conference continues the successful series of NOAA Satellite Conferences (most recently held in April 2015), bringing together users and providers of polar-orbiting and geostationary satellite data as well as data products and applications from the public, private and academic perspectives.

The event provides a forum for satellite data enthusiasts, ranging from scientists to the general public, to gain a firsthand understanding of NOAA’s environmental satellite programs. This year’s theme is “A New Era for NOAA Environmental Satellites.” Participants from across the world will cover topics such as data access, user reception and readiness, and technology and applications of polar-orbiting and geostationary environmental satellite constellations.
