Description:

Celebrate World Oceans Day with HarborLAB! The organization is offering a kayaking trip starting in Long Island City and ending in Dumbo. It's completely free, just be sure to bring your own supplies, but NO flip flops. Don't worry if you haven't tried paddling before (or haven't experienced it with currents), you will be paired up with experienced kayakers! They will also provide life jackets and snacks along the way. Donations and future volunteering are welcome, but not required.

To participate, please email tours@harborlab.org with the subject line "Plastics Pledge Paddle" and include you name, age, paddling experience, and any special needs.

Also, if you plan to go, please be mindful of the weather for Saturday and keep in contact with the event staff.
