5:30 PM – 8:00 PM EDT
Hammer Health Sciences Center Room 401
701 West 168th Street
New York, NY 10032
The goal of this event is to provide resources on how to transition from a J1/F1/OPT to a Green Card/H1B. All postdocs and PhD students from all NY institutions are welcome to attend. The event will consist of a short info talk explaining regulation and recent changes in the legislation. The lecture is for informational purposes and does not represent legal advice. It will be followed by a panel with different postdocs that have gone through the different modalities of Green Card/H1B, and a networking reception. We think it will be a good opportunity for international NYC researchers to learn about different ways to H1B and permanent residency and also a great chance to socialize!
