The HSI:Urbano Conference, convened to explore issues that can limit the chances that an Hispanic or underrepresented minority STEM student can be successful and pursue a career in the STEM workforce, will be held from May 23 through May 25 at the City College of New York.

Participate in a faculty-focused conference to explore the issues affecting Hispanic and underrepresented minority student achievement in STEM, and join a distinguished group of academicians, industry professionals, administrators, and students in considering solutions.

Review posters depicting these issues and solutions that have been implemented in other parts of the country, and possibly present a poster with solutions of your own. Students who are part of your poster presentation can register free of charge.

Join the National Science Foundation in a grant writing seminar to learn ways to seek grant money to implement HSI solutions on your campus.

Get all of this at a discounted registration fee of $75.00, 50% off the normal price. But you need to register before May 11, 2018, to get it. A registration fee waiver is available for students who request it.
