DESCRIPTION
Join NYC Writer/Performer and “Recovering Mathematician” Gioia De Cari for a special one-night performance of her award-winning national hit show Truth Values. Called “energetic, intimate, hilarious” by WIRED, the play is also a serious exploration of the world of elite mathematics and the challenges faced by women in STEM fields. The story follows Gioia’s adventures as a math Ph.D. student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Bewitched by the formal mathematical notion of Truth, she struggles with the clash of her personal reality in a world that is not binary.
