Are you a recent PhD graduate, postdoc, or faculty member interested in using your scientific acumen to contribute to policy and help make an impact? Are you interested in applying for the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Science & Technology Policy Fellowships? Do you have questions about the application process? The March for Science and the People's Climate March were great successes, but now we have to settle in and put in the legwork and contribute voices of the scientific community to the policy-making process. Applications are now open for the 2018-19 fellowship year. Come hear about the application process, the timeline, and fellowship itself from one of AAAS' own! Plenty of time will be designated afterward to answer any questions you may have.
Now, more than ever, the government needs scientists like you to help contribute evidence-based approaches to today's myriad policy issues!
Refreshments will be served.
To reach the Tri-I, take the Q, 6, or F train and make your way to East 68th street between 1st and York Ave.
