NOAA-CESSRST Scholar Harold Gamarro wins AMS Poster Competition 2019

Harold Gamarro, a NOAA-CESSRST graduate scholar majoring in Mechanical Engineering, was selected as a finalist at the poster session competition during the 18th American Meteorological Society (AMS) Student Conference. This year marked the 99th year of the general AMS Conference, which attracts hundreds of scientists, educators, and other professionals from all over the nation. Harold’s research poster was titled “Evaluating Urban WRF-Solar for photovoltaic power forecasts in New York City".
