NOAA CESSRST Collaborates with NOAA/NESDIS to Launch the ‘CESSRST-NOAA Mission Oriented Professional Development Workshop/Seminar Series’

National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Cooperative Science Center for Earth System Sciences and Remote Sensing Technologies (NOAA CESSRST) collaborated with NOAA/ National Environmental Satellite, Data and Information Service (NESDIS) to launch the CESSRST-NOAA Mission Oriented Professional Development Workshop/Seminar Series on November 29, 2021.

This new initiative aims to create awareness about the NOAA/NESDIS mission and help create potential NOAA mentorship/internship/collaborative opportunities for Educational Partnership Program with Minority-Serving Institutions (EPP/MSI) Cooperative Science Centers (CSC) students, particularly the CESSRST students. During this interactive workshop/seminar series, NOAA/NESDIS professionals (federal and affiliates) will be sharing experiences from their professional journey at NOAA and the potential opportunities for current students and recent graduates.
