WSB is a design and consulting firm that specializes in engineering, community planning, environmental, and construction services. At the firm, Karla will be in charge of designing bioretention ponds for stormwater management, performing wetland delineations, and developing and performing environmental compliance plans. Commenting on the achievement, Karla said, “I am happy and excited to begin this new chapter of my life. I’ve seen many people struggle to find a job right after graduating, especially in the ongoing pandemic and uncertain times. I feel very proud and relieved to have found a job that is aligned with my NOAA mission experiential training in the field of environmental engineering.”
