NOAA DataFest is a month-long effort to showcase a vast collection of earth and environmental observations. NOAA websites and social media accounts will be promoting the value, use, and extent of  the agency's data, which are available and accessible to everyone for free!

Look for unique data visualizations that highlight how to use earth and atmospheric observational data to measure our dynamic planet. Share and follow along with the hashtag #wegotthedata

Follow @NOAANCEIclimate and @NOAANCEIocngeo to learn more about how NOAA is studying data, promoting access to data, and sharing data sources with the science community and the public.

Highlights for the Month

NEDTalks

Every Tuesday during the month of August, you are invited to learn from various data experts, end users and data scientists about how they use data. Learn more about the many applications of environmental data from NOAA and our partners, including how data can be transformed into visualizations to tell a story.

Tune in every Tuesday in August (exact times to be shared closer to each date), to hear experts discuss the importance of data in their daily work.
