Research Interests: Understanding the predictive capability of the interconnections of terrestrial, atmospheric, and marine systems on global change: focused primarily in the Arctic (Alaska, Russia), the Pacific Basin (Baja California Sur, Mexico, Indonesia), and the semi-arid ecosystems of Italy and San Diego.
