Research Title: Urban Heat: Risk perceptions and intersectionality in the U.S.-México Border

Research Synopsis: I am in the preliminary stages of developing my project. I expect to focus on heat risk and how people in El Paso and Ciudad Juarez perceive heat risk in their communities. I will use an intersectional framework to analyze how different factors contribute to heat perception.
