Career Goal: After graduating from Hampton, I want to attend graduate school so I can do research and learn more about my interests for my career.

Expected Graduation Date: May 10, 2023

Degree: B.S Chemical Engineering

Research Title: Air mass histories of significant air quality events over Hampton Roads.

Research Synopsis: I will learn and apply trajectory analyses using the Hybrid Single Particle Lagrangian Integrated Trajectory (HYSPLIT) model to determine the origin of anomalous high air pollution events and impacts in the Tidewater region of Virginia, and along the east coast of the United States. I’ll be using the CESON network of ground-based instruments and satellite data from the Direct Broadcast System (DBS) Antenna Receiving and Data Analyses Systems. Everyday, I will track 11 satellites in real time.
