Chris obtained an M.S. in Atmospheric Science from Colorado State University and worked as a researcher  at the Cooperative Institute for Meteorological Satellite Studies (CIMSS) at the U. of Wisconsin-Madison.He received his PhD at UCLA 2018 and worked as the Doherty Visiting Professor in the Dept. of Ocean Engineering and Marine Sciences at the Florida Institute of Technology.
