Research Title: Recycling Heat Waste In New York City

Research Synopsis: Thermal heat data images will be recorded at various sites across New York City of various buildings, parks and other locations of interest. This data will be compiled into a large scale map, which will allow for target areas to be determined. These target areas will be examined closer to determine if there is a way to reduce and/or recycle the heat in theses areas. By lowering the overall heat index of New York City, Urban Heat Island effect can also be reduced as well as the carbon footprint can be diminished by some degree.
